Ausvanta joined hundreds of exhibitors at the 2026 Sydney Disability Expo, held Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August at Exhibition Hall 4, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. Over the two days, the Ausvanta team met NDIS participants, support coordinators and provider staff to demonstrate how the platform brings participant management, rostering, claiming and compliance into a single system.
The Sydney Disability Expo is a free, publicly accessible event that brings disability service providers, assistive technology developers and support organisations together under one roof. It draws thousands of attendees each day, including NDIS participants, families, support coordinators and providers evaluating new tools for their operations.
Ausvanta's stand ran across both expo days, with the team on hand to walk visitors through the platform live on screen rather than relying on brochures alone. The stand featured a working demonstration of the Ausvanta dashboard, along with a QR code visitors could scan to request a follow-up conversation with the team after the event.
Conversations at the stand centred on the core pitch behind Ausvanta: one platform to run an entire NDIS operation, with pricing that doesn't rise simply because a provider's team grows. Four themes came up repeatedly with visitors:
For many visitors, this was their first hands-on look at how participant management, workforce rostering, claiming and compliance can sit inside one system instead of being stitched together across several tools.
Software buying decisions in the disability sector are rarely made from a website alone. Provider staff want to see a live dashboard, ask pointed questions about SCHADS Award compliance or claiming rules, and gauge how responsive a vendor's team actually is. Face-to-face events like the Sydney Disability Expo give that in a way a demo booking form can't replicate.
It also puts Ausvanta directly in front of the people shaping day-to-day operations at small and mid-sized NDIS providers โ the segment the platform is built around โ rather than relying solely on inbound search traffic.
Dates: Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August 2026
Hours: 9:00am โ 3:00pm both days
Venue: Exhibition Hall 4, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW
